Lula's triumph in Brazil

 Lula's triumph in Brazil

Diego Martin Velazquez Caballero

Although the difference between Lula and Bolsonaro is not like that of 2006 between the left and the right in Mexico, an important fracture is beginning to appear in Brazil that affects our country and Latin America. Although the victory of the Brazilian left tries to get into the sack of populism, this is not the case; It is important to remember the technologies and spaces for collective action, including the geopolitical actions that the Latin American giant implemented as a hopeful and different model of what Heinz Dieterich proposed as the socialism of the 21st century.

It is particularly worth remembering the technology of participatory budgets and the ideas of sociologists Leonardo Avritzer and Boaventura Do Santos. The alternation in the country where the most beautiful soccer in the world is played brings back pleasant memories of the debates in the doctorate of history and regional studies at the Institute of Historical-Social Research of the Veracruzana University. Is it participatory civil society, social movements taking power, populism or new government?

We do not know, even when the influence of Liberation Theology is also delimited in the influences of someone who represents one of the most important leaders in Brazilian history. The governments of the Labor Party were successful by generating technologies of participation and collective action different from a centralized government that pretends to be right in everything because good intentions and ethical conditions are on its side. There is also the negative side of the trajectory of the Brazilian participatory model, the corruption derived from neo-extractivism and the deadly economy of commodities that various governments of the continent promoted to survive against the market and Yankee imperialism.

The change in Brazil is an impact on the geopolitical condition of the continent, the North American carelessness will cause the development of the BRIC and Mercosur, to the horror of the liberal right and political science. Thinking from the south makes sense now more than ever. Simón Bolívar will never be like George Washington, just as the Mexican constitution of 1824 will never work for a country like ours because there are no gringos here, there are Mexicans.

The triumph of Luis Ignacio Lula Da Silva invites us to reflect critically on civil society and acquire the courage to build it seriously, not through the farce of conservative businessmen and religious who kidnap it. And also, to think about geopolitical strategies to develop a defense against the United States that increasingly resembles the Aztecs that Hernán Cortés found.

The best of luck to the South American brother who influences so much good in Latin America.

The colonized space

 the colonized space

Diego Martin Velazquez Caballero

In these moments of global geopolitical change it seems that traditional hegemonies are crumbling, it is even being affirmed -abruptly- that everything has become the third world. This situation requires a new look at imperialism, particularly the North American from the perspective of our country. The need for a bloc economy and the concentration of powerful states in their areas of influence has long been affirmed.

The United States has exhausted itself and can no longer exercise that world hegemony that led to the victory of the Cold War. Capitalist liberal democracy, neoliberalism and rule based on mercantile justice have failed. The great American power cannot control its former regional enemies, but; Above all, it does not recognize its economic elites who have gone mad: Freadmanian anarchist liberalism is generating the end of the planet.

Mexico became an American Sicily for following Hayek's neoliberal model. It has become a narco-state that breaks the governability of the dominated, but can also destroy the Empire. It is critical that America recognize the insignificance of neoliberal discourse and the inability of corporate managers to take back the world, Atlas Shrugged must be brought down because humanity and America are going extinct. The end of England is in sight.

Keynes's political-economic model recovers guarantee at this time, the Welfare State cannot be for an oligarchy that subsidizes its racist affluence; if the capitalist groups want money, let them convince people with excellent products and become human with humans. Beyond the reptilian and illuminati subterfuges with which some refer to their power, they should rather be meant as psychopaths equivalent to any selfish mobster.

The United States must rebuild Latin America in a new vision of the Marshall Plan that closes the cycle of political modernization and institutionalization. A market that keeps societies in the Middle Ages or feudalism is not a market. It generates poverty and all kinds of pathologies that the United States has in the south of its territory. The State is first!

The global conflict forces us to look intelligently at the crisis of liberal democracies and, particularly, of capitalism. It is essential to find the way out that corresponds to the historical speed of each people and the alternative modernity that corresponds to it. The gatopardismo proposed by the imperialists of the market only heats up the environmental damage of the planet and the atomic destruction.

GUACA-CIA

 GUACA-CIA

Diego Martin Velazquez Caballero

During these days, the soft coup d'état has been launched, which was observed so much in different Latin American spaces where the left has tried to remain in government. The espionage to which the Mexican government has been subjected has an indelible and identifiable mark on the Ibero-American trajectory. Only the signature of Henry Lane Wilson was missing from the report.

Illegally obtained information is intended to weaken the Mexican government more than the party in power. The opposition, which also punishes the President of the Republic, shows itself to be a faithful lackey of imperialism and a total factionalist. However, the hoaxes that North America sows so that Mexico is subordinated to its interests, affect us all.

If Mexico falls, the United States falls. This concept has been repeated ad nauseam in many academic, political and economic forums.

North America loses sight of the conflicts that ungovernability has generated and that no party, no matter how fascist, neo-liberal and extreme right-wing it appears, can fix.

The time has come for the colonial structures of the viceroyalty era to be modified forever in Latin America and particularly in Mexico. The United States must allow the independence of the Mexican State against the factual powers that have dominated it since Spanish times.

The secret reports, the foreign support for the opposition, the financing of mercenaries who fight the National Army and the smear campaign that has been deployed are not new things. Leaving North American experiences aside, the drug issue can be pointed out in the Mexican case. What has been the use of so much pressure on the Mexican governments to do what is convenient for the United States on the issue of drug trafficking? No problem. Every six-year term things are worse for Mexico and North America.

Is it that the United States wants more immigration, drugs, financial crime, narco-terrorism and violence in different spaces of the American Union?

The Moreno government, despite everything, has endured a severe crisis derived from the neoliberal era and the pandemic that spans more than half of the six-year term. The country could be worse off and it is enough to remember Donald Trump's speeches in his first campaign and the social psychosis he generated when he spoke of returning a few million migrants to our country or solidifying the border wall. With two serious situations and the implicit conflicts they have generated, MORENA -in the federal government- does not present completely inadmissible results.

Breaking the balance that Morena has generated and that is held with pins, is not going to pay off in something positive for North America. The empowerment of the Mexican extreme right only pays back Donald Trump and the supremacist Republicans.

National Security and Succession

 National Security and Succession

Diego Martín Velázquez Caballero

For Antonio Velasco Piña, the sentence that characterized an ideological axiom of the regime of the Mexican revolution: Effective Suffrage, No Reelection; it characterized a mandate that was protected by the armed forces and meant a reprimand for whoever held the presidency of the republic under the concern of transex. The paradox of this belief in the mechanics of the Mexican political system is that it has been fulfilled in the authoritarian and pluralistic dimension.

The vulnerability evidenced in the presidential figure as well as in national intelligence, translates into the abandonment of military support for the Executive Power and the concern of the de facto powers (particularly the United States) for the successor of Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Apparently, cyberattacks should be understood as a discord against the option that intends to follow, squarely, the foundations of the Fourth Transformation.

Inheritance conflicts in Mexico have caused severe social and governability crises. Velasco Piña's black circle considered that, with everything and the injustice that the Mexican domination pact represented, the six-year term was more than enough for the mortal god-president to undertake his historical activities. For better or worse, for the health of Mexican society, the six years of a Satrap fit for everything.

Although these perspectives correspond to political fiction, beyond the fact that these processes actually occur to derail Morena's best-positioned candidate from occupying the presidency of the nation, it is important to discuss the importance of the transexality of the country's projects that political factions develop.

Although six years seems like a long time, the transformations that the country requires exceed the dimension of the constitutional mandate. It is important to consider the temporal dimension of the presidential regime that our country has and contemplate what happens in the United States (perhaps the only presidential system that works in the world). Re-election and short government terms, as well as recall, are intelligent mechanisms to reduce the bad influence of rulers and protect society.

Putting pressure on and sabotaging the president as has been done up to now is a suicidal act that will generate a stronger polarization than the fracture that the 2006 and 2018 elections have left for everyone. The faction of lopezobradorismo and the candidate preferred by AMLO to succeed him, have to correctly analyze the presidential weakness in multiparty contexts and propose mechanisms that generate governability and executives capable of defending themselves.
