Trumpism and the boycott of the Mexican succession

Trumpism and the boycott of the Mexican succession

Diego Martín Velázquez Caballero

Although Donald Trump has insisted on a friendly relationship with his socialist friend from the south, it is significant that the mass communication monopolies in Mexico are legitimizing in advance the triumph of the American Republican and seeking to accommodate their oligarchic interests in the agenda of the probable American Caesar.

A divided election scenario with a high degree of competitiveness and uncertainty is the one that points to the United States; not to Mexico.

However, different electoral institutions, business organizations and red circle analysts affirm – irresponsibly – that the Mexican elections have a scenario of social polarization above that of the United States.

Despite the fact that PRIANRD's own pollsters have parametrized MORENA's advantage and AMLO's approval as factors that configure a peaceful succession favorable to the former Head of the CDMX Government Claudia Sheinbaum, there is a vile intention to point out the Mexican elections as problematic.

The Broad Front for Mexico has only been established as an exaltation of ineptitude and its dark campaign against the election for the presidency of Mexico means the biggest mistake; although, unfortunately, it ends up harming the entire society.

Conservatives have always looked abroad for military force to make up for the lack of support among the Mexican people.

This occurred in French and North American interventions throughout the 19th and 20th centuries; It is not strange that Claudio

The arguments regarding the supposed communism of the Fourth Transformation do not hold up; However, the issue of drug trafficking and insecurity makes sense when organized crime cells multiply, scenes of violence extend to most of the national territory and Morena is not immunized against narcopolitics.

Contemporary history is full of cases where legitimate governments, democratically elected and with broad social support, are overthrown by the enemies of the country supported by foreign forces; especially North Americans.

Mexico has followed this drama at least five times.

Is Claudia Sheinbaum safe from a conservative coup? Of course not.

Popular bases, military support and pragmatic alliances are not enough.

Morena is not the PRI, Mexico has not achieved the national unity of some Latin American countries that have faced imperialism with dignity.

Calles and Cárdenas inhibited invasions and coups against Mexico directed from the United States through arduous work in international relations.

Callismo, as reported by the investigations of Martha Loyo and Manola Álvarez, exposed the vileness of the North American ambassador James Rockwell Sheffield to generate a war against Mexico and seize the oil.

Cardenism had the giant Vicente Lombardo Toledano to externalize the Nazism of the national right, the abandonment of the civilized world to the democratic Spanish republic and the sympathy of North Americans for the destruction of the USSR.

Morena must expose to the world the narco empire that the United States represents and the dishonesty that it deprives of its intelligence apparatus.

Morena has made terrible mistakes based on electoral profitability.

It is true that in a context like the Mexican one, the politician who does not steal flies; However, militants have been appointed to public positions that justify foreign interventionism.

Electoral support counts for nothing in the face of North American imperialism, they themselves constitute a semi-sovereign people who hand over the will to power to a plutocracy.

Do the turncoat PRI members believe that it is enough to buy votes in North America to change the direction of the Electoral College?

Donald Trump is increasingly convinced of a military intervention in Mexico to replenish his country's economy and prolong a war that allocates profits to the pentagonism that he cannot obtain in distant conflagrations.

As in the 19th century, Mexico will be the sparring partner of Yankee imperialism with the full approval of conservatives.

The abandonment of Xóchitl Gálvez's electoral campaign is explained by the PRI lobbying with Donald Trump and the pragmatic Morenoist fool.

You look so much like the PRI, …

You look so much like the PRI, …

Diego Martin Velazquez Caballero

These days the theoretical debate regarding the political parties -hegemonic and dominant- has been recovered for the Mexican case. On the one hand, the electoral conquest of various entities and spaces by Morena forces us to reflect on whether said social movement is not the Fourth Transformation of the Regime of the Mexican Revolution (PNR-PRM-PRI); but no, although the National Regeneration Movement retakes the structure of cacique corporatist domination that the PRI institutionalized, its challenge is precisely institutionalization. At this point, Morena is more related to the ugly cousin of the PRI: the PRD, which succumbs for not developing the ability to overcome caudillismo. Morena is a dominant party, but not hegemonic and presents mechanical contradictions by using the old PRI irons and the progressivism of Mexican postmodernity in an antinomic way.

The other half of the extinct hegemonic party, the PRIANRD, suffers from poisoning by mixing antagonistic institutional designs that do not find an effective way of projection. National Action has used corporatism to win elections; however, he rejects it for an erratic interpretation of the concept of excellent minorities. Technocracy is not traditionalism and, due to the equivocal medieval Catholic nationalism, it would be better for the PAN to assume its Francoist condition and stop putting into practice a liberalism that is alien to it. Rafael Moreno Valle, the avilacamachista governor of Puebla, sought to implant the logic of cacique corporatism in the Blue and Whites and failed. Now, AN is the axis of the opposition coalition to MORENA and does not have the capacity to find excellent minorities, cadres, notable personalities, who have the power to confront López Obrador. On the contrary, the PAN drags the bundles of the PRI and PRD that end up contaminating and perverting, even more, the courteous civilian ethics of integral humanism.

The elections of 2024 begin to resemble those of 1976. Unless MORENA decides to confront itself, the opposition simply vanishes, the structure of PRI domination remains: the cacique corporatism that, faced with the magnetism of López Obrador, migrates to MORENA without the slightest shame. The PRI can only be defeated by the PRI, said Daniel Cosío Villegas, and the PRI are overflowing towards Morena everywhere and in every way. Will Morena only be defeated by Morena?

The culture of PRI domination remains firm after all, the cacique corporatism does not lose and is disciplined in the face of the power that the president of the republic accumulates, however, compliance with him will change towards the end of the six-year term. Caciques and corporations are immovable stones in the Mexican political system, but they move under their particularisms according to the chronology of the constitutional mandates.

The state of the party system in Mexico is a tragedy, Morena is not a political party and the famous electoral referee has turned out to be the best ally of conservative populism and revolutionary nationalism. Hopefully a future Jesús Reyes Heroles will have mercy on the remaining ideological gatherings to grant them crumbs that allow them to feed themselves; although there are always the United States and the Miami worms to refinance a counterpower or a probable coup.

A few days ago on TVunam, Argentine political scientist Flavia Freindenberg used a conceptual category to explain electoral political processes in Latin America. Elections in Chile, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil and Mexico are shaping scenarios where economic, political and social circumstances have activated the mechanisms of preservation and social self-defense. This reaction-cultural conservatism-obeys to the simplest characteristics of protection that human groups establish. The groups of these countries are considering serious risks derived from an irresponsible economic globalization. There are social indicators to show the deep damage that the neoliberal model establishes in education, health, gender, human rights and democracy.

The danger of the situation has reached such an extreme that the mechanisms of human protection have been activated, as happens when there is a cataclysm or tragedy. Hence, it is understood that the winning political options are outlined in a repertoire of anti-establishment candidates and representatives of a populist nationalism.

It is true that this context also constitutes the starting point for authoritarian regimes. Several dictators have gained power through democratic elections. However, social structures in Latin America are in a severe process of decomposition and society demands an urgent change. The PRIANRD has made the country a Failed State and, little by little, this reality has become conscious in a large part of the population. The corruption and cynicism of the contemporary political class has overcome the worst epochs in history.

There is no institution that works in present Mexico, it is enough to observe the profile of the national flag on its last anniversary. And the ruling class does not get anything positive. Deception, corruption as well as permanent factionalism generate an aberrant partycracy. Because of the same situation, the Army, the Catholic Church and the universities travel.

Characters representing Protestant Christianity, nationalists, outsiders, non-political trajectories, etc., have begun to generate sympathy and participation of citizens. It is an opportunity and a remarkable risk; but, perhaps, it is a need according to the time that is lived.

The PRIANRD is a danger for Mexico, they are exterminating what is left of the country. Hence, people opt for regime change and rejection of a continuity full of corruption, violence and parasitism.

Anti-systemic, nationalist, conservative and populist coalitions are marking the dynamics of political change in Latin America. Mexico represented the last link of a colonial neoliberalism that became impotent even to maintain order. The political forces are migrating to Morena's coalition not only because of a conservation superlative, the social order has been lost and nobody knows how to restore it. Morena is the name of the Bardo Monster that can redeem or annihilate Mexico.

Spain and Poland needed prudent leaders to promote amnesties, consensus and pacts. The change without rupture that Manuel Camacho Solis maintained from always and that, now, retakes an importance without comparison. The Catholic neoliberal right, like Polish communism and traditionalist Francoism, wafts everywhere. They are not right in anything. They are an example of the worst. By health they must leave and, at the same time, seek regeneration. With everything and the anthropological characteristics of Mexican culture, the political class and its powers have become alien, different, dangerous.

Is Andrés Manuel López Obrador a Revolutionary Conservator? At first it seems that way. It depends on the society that is not transformed into a Francisco I. Madero or Plutarco Elías Calles. It is up to Mexicans to value the republic, secularism, education and institutions that have inherited the blood of virtuous Mexicans. Globalization, Catholicism, the West and neoliberal order, present a historical crisis, each society is leading to safeguard their lives. Cultural conservatism is the ghost that travels the world, an opportunity and a tremendous risk
