Traian Romanescu and the fight for the presidency of Mexico in 2024

Traian Romanescu and the fight for the presidency of Mexico in 2024

Diego Martín Velázquez Caballero

The PRIANRD's literary attacks on Claudia Sheinbaum, as well as the ideological confrontation against Israel, take on the aspects of the oldest hatred in the world; especially because it is based on the usual fallacies and selfishness.

During the second month of the campaign, after the initial attacks did not work, accusations began to emerge regarding the links between international communist networks and Sheinbaum Pardo's family circle, in another stage of the dirty war.

The accusations are ridiculous.

Some expressions are stated as journalistic, but, in truth, they take up the ideas of Salvador Borrego and Traian Romanescu.

The search in Claudia Sheinbaum's family past is more like a Traian Romanescu narrative, the idea of tracing from Bulgaria, Lithuania, the USSR, Cuba and finally Panama, marks the history of an international communist membership that conspires in different regions .

It could not be like that, considering that communist groups had that level of activism without the intervention of the United States or the strength of the TECOS group - one of the main bastions of phil-Nazi anti-communism - in Guadalajara, allows us to understand the stupid attempt at banned biographies on Sheinbaum as essays of historiographical perversion.

If Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo's family circle had had the militant background that the pamphlet biographies claim, these characters would have ended up like the victims of the Dirty War that the DFS and the United States carried out in Latin America.

It is more interesting to investigate the present of Sheinbaum's links with the current candidates, there are characters in the PRIANRD and Morena who seek elective representation, but they are highly questionable, more so than the communists from Eastern Europe.

There are real criminals as candidates who, more than the USSR and the Cuban communists, must ask the CIA and the DEA the reasons why they let them compete if, in truth, the United States - a living superpower - is concerned about the narcostate.

In short, reading Traian Romanescu should be put aside. The creativity of the team that seeks to promote Xóchitl Gálvez should be limited to the present.

Indeed, it is essential to know the influence that the Head of Government had, since the time of Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas, on the decomposition and factionalism of the Mexican left, particularly that focused on Mexico City.

Generating communist Masonic Jewish conspiracism around the figure of Claudia Sheinbaum is something that the Mexican right and left should put aside.

If Mexican politics appears backward due to the caciquil nexus that most of the groups make, assuming Montuno anti-communism ends in the greatest ridicule and one of the most serious errors of the PRIANRD.

It is true that our country has enormous historical gaps in the indigenous racial issue, but it is also true that, for a long time, Ibero-America has been multiracial and multiethnic.

Mexicanness has been nourished by many positive aspects from abroad.

Hence, the Mongolian plot that they are trying to impose on Claudia Sheinbaum has been misleading.

Likewise, the Mexican left reacts equivocally to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

There is an incomprehensible Judeophobia animated by a fanaticism regarding terrorist Muslim fundamentalism.

It is incomprehensible the attacks of the progressive journalistic media towards Israel and, at the same time, the advertising empowerment that they seek to give Claudia Sheinbaum.

They seem like two different things, but, in the end, the issue ends up being linked in Judeophobia.

Morena's presidential candidate has not denied her ties of descent with the nation of Abraham. How could the Arab-Israeli issue stop being linked to Sheinbaum? Judeophobia in Mexico has a double standard, right and left must learn to ward off this terrible virus that invades and corrupts in a serious way.

Taboada: Bombardment to the PRIANRD's deficient presidential candidacy

Taboada: Bombardment to the PRIANRD's deficient presidential candidacy

Although polls mean that the lead in CDMX still favors Morena to retain the local government, it is important to note what is happening as an effect of the political debates.

While in several entities the dialogue between candidates and meetings in different agoras is reduced, or debates are canceled for simply authoritarian reasons; In the country's capital, the dialogues proposed by the electoral authorities and other social, civic, economic and political actors have become indispensable.

The Federal District has always been established as an archipelago of criticism, participation, liberalism and exchange of proposals between the most diverse actors.

Based on the above, the victory of Santiago Taboada in the second Chilango debate will have positive consequences for the presidential candidacy of Xóchitl Gálvez.

Just like other red lights in the country, CDMX will not be a sunny day for Morena in this year's federal and local elections.

The alternation after the broad government of a factionalist and pragmatic collaborative left is likely.

Likewise, the forceful criticism of Claudia Sheinbaum's government will also have resonance outside the national capital.

The metropolitan area of the Valley of Mexico has been attentive to the Chilango debates and the failures of Clara Brugada trickle down everywhere, like the capital's leachates.

In 2021, Mexico City had a divided election that meant a symbolic defeat for the Fourth Transformation, it simply caused a juxtaposed government to be implemented at the local level and Morena did not reach the number of federal legislators for its reform projects.

The latent opposition, since then, has found in the frank debate with AMLO and his representatives, the possibility of its voice becoming bizarre.

And they get it.

Although Taboada's proposals are simple and managerial in handling the capital's problems, they seem like golden paths in the face of the natural disaster that left-wing governments have had in recent years.

Water, transportation, security, hygiene, education, ecology and infrastructure are the first package of criticism that shows the exhaustion of a clientelistic and corporate left, the lack of creativity and innovation of a populism that wins polls, but does not know how to govern or reinvent public policies.

The decline of Morena in CDMX is due to a natural process of political aging; there were many years of temporary solutions and impossible utopias.

The drinking water network, the metro transportation system and pollution; They are more than urgent issues that the leftist old guard forgot to change.

The triumph of Santiago Taboada refreshes the campaign of Xochitl Gálvez, a candidate who at times goes astray due to her own abandonment and that of strangers; Some commentators point out that the dyslexic, autism and attention deficit of the FAM presidential candidate is undeniable – from psychological perspectives.

However, the leadership of managerial PANism will provide more electoral support in the capital and in the metropolitan area for the two Xs.

Unlike Xóchitl, in CDMX there is no competition of pigeons against pigeons, the DF has never been buxom, it is important that Morena is aware that the capital election will be highly competitive and, probably, with adverse electoral results.

North America and the Mexican succession

North America and the Mexican succession

Diego Martín Velázquez Caballero

Although it is an open secret, some historians such as Joseph Schlarman or Friederich Katz agree that the United States contributed to the fall of the dictator Porfirio Díaz for reasons of geopolitical and economic competition.

The formation of a national bourgeoisie, the growth of infrastructure, the consolidation of a national market and the intervention in Central America were elements of greater importance than inequality and injustice in Mexico, for North America to sponsor opposition and anti-reelectionist groups against Porfirio Díaz. ; Also the Yankee support for Pancho Villa and Francisco I. Madero was more than noticeable.

In the end, the United States decided to assassinate the Apostle of Democracy to continue guaranteeing its economic hegemony and insert Mexicans into a maelstrom of violence for almost twenty years. The United States has always feared the development of “Japan below the Rio Grande.”

Yankee interventionism in Mexico's political processes has occurred since moments prior to national independence.

From there we have to read the attack on the Mexican Embassy in Ecuador that the puppet government of Daniel Noboa carried out. The message is forceful: something is happening in Mexico that aggravates the United States.

Is it the economic recovery? Is it the advantage of Donald Trump? Is it the development of infrastructure? Is it the permanence of populist progressivism in the government? Is it the end of neoliberalism? Or is it everything at the same time? time? The relationship between Mexico and the United States is one of the most schizophrenic.

Although the final destination is integration, we do not see everything that has to happen for this objective to be met.

It is considered a process of cultural and civilizational disintegration before the expanded formation of the United States of America.

Among the closest scenarios is the one proposed by George Friedman, derived from the narcopolitics shared by the informal economy of both nations.

It seems that the Democratic administration of Joe Biden wants to advance it a little; although a virtual invasion of the United States to Mexico would be detrimental, in no way, to the American Union.

Drugs, cheap labor, emigration and natural resources; They constitute the main lines of a complicated relationship between the US and Mexico. What is missing, or what is left over? Given membership in the impossible triangle, Mexican diplomacy cannot make a meaningful decision.

The argument of international law – the weapon of the poor and weak – continues to be the route where a weakened Mexican sovereignty attempts to defend itself.

However, Daniel Noboa's offensive against Mexico should not confuse us as to the sender; the aggression - as always - comes from the United States.

The historical agents of phil-Nazi anti-communism, such as Ricardo Salinas and Lilly Téllez, did not miss the opportunity to identify with the anti-Castro right in Miami.

The Mexican-American fusion will not be peaceful or benevolent in the short term; On the contrary, many contrasts and conflicts show that the lack of assimilation of Mexicanness to Anglo-Saxon culture triggers the isolation of our country.

Assimilation or Subordination? What does America want? The official candidate's agenda should not waste more time thinking about it.

Debates work

 Debates work

Diego Martín Velázquez Caballero

This reflection takes place a few hours after the first presidential debate between Claudia Sheinbaum and Xóchitl Gálvez. Regardless of the result, as a precedent to said civic exercise, the aim has been to develop a climate of opinion unfavorable to face-to-face contact between the contenders for the presidency of the republic. It is true that there has been an extensive atmosphere of politicization throughout the six-year term and with political campaigns so advanced that the partisan electoral process causes boredom; However, admitting that the political struggle is defined and that the elections are not competitive shows that indifference and a complacent authoritarian political culture are beginning to consolidate.

There is a global crisis of capitalist liberal democracy; But, at times, it seems that in Mexico it is total and that constitutes a high risk because it generates uncertainty about the regime to come. If politics in Mexico has been canceled, why don't we leave it to artificial intelligence? It has already been said that the best thing for Mexico is for gringos to govern it, but what if it is left to AI?

The agora and debate are inherent to politics. When the possibilities that may emerge from public dialogue between candidates are undermined, politics is nullified. The debates, amplified by different media, could be the only possibility for people to be able to see a more critical and aware image of the candidates about the work carried out by neuromarketing. Individuals could even change the direction of their electoral preference.

Although electoral reform in the INE is important, the basic elements of civilized political competition cannot be ignored in such a negative way.

The ruling party should be attentive to the consequences of political exclusion and undemocratic attitudes. What are the proposals for political reeducation of progressivism to avoid falling into the authoritarian attitudes of conservative thought? If there is no debate, there is no freedom of expression.

The participatory schemes of democratic liberalism must be maintained so that individuals make their contribution to the political system. The debates are important because they are outside the trappings of the rally and the campaign teams. In the debate, the candidates have to show their political leadership nakedly and convey the idea of their ability to mobilize the entire apparatus of political power, to inspire a country.

Debates should not be discouraged; On the contrary, their promotion and attention constitutes the minimum morality of elites and citizens.

I hope that the debate has allowed the growth of the presidential proposals and that the social sectors attentive to this exchange of ideas and criticism, take the necessary information for their electoral participation.

Xochitl. The howitzer off

 Xochitl. The howitzer off

Diego Martín Velázquez Caballero

Although the FAM candidate has indicated that the presidential candidacy was one of her greatest dreams, at times this seems to turn into a nightmare. Some of the collaborators and politicians who agreed to support the campaign have simply abandoned him. The Xóchitl campaign suffers from everyone's abandonment and transfuguism; What's more, to summarize, not even the famous Mr. X decides to contribute and appear in the campaign. The right-wing candidate has no parties, no civil society, or anything; She alone was left with the support of her family circle and her friends.

Xóchitl Gálvez's campaign seems like a rehearsal for young aspiring political consultants. Which is why Mrs. There has been talk of replacing the Front candidate; or abandoning her, which is even worse. It is true that the elections can be described as “non-competitive”, but the opposition is playing a game of abandonment.

The Mexican oligarchy has demonstrated terrible pragmatism, the migration to Morena and the transfuguism of many PRIANRD militants towards the benefits of the Fourth Transformation, render Xóchitl Gálvez's presidential campaign meaningless. Even the idea of divided government does not seem to attract sponsors and competitive political cadres. The problem for the voter is that there are no options or alternatives; They are literally all the same.

Mrs. X is carrying out a testimonial campaign for the Mexican opposition. The neoliberals show that they were never committed to this project and that Sheinbaum's nonsense not only attracts the classes and politicians of the popular sector. In the end, Xóchitl Gálvez's attempts to connect with Mexican society are not enough.

The Mexican opposition did not want to sink with the PRIANRD Titanic and only Xóchitl will remain as captain of an unmanned liner.

A comfortable victory is emerging for Morena and the extinction of the party system corresponding to 20th century Mexico. Xóchitl Gálvez was used by a right

pragmatic and voluble who has no qualms about changing her jacket and disguising herself as a progressive and social democrat.

The excessive partisan migration that Morena receives forces us to rethink the meaning of the political trajectory in the country; If Mexico – as a failed democracy – had been an example of political transition via competitive elections, now it can create the transition of the red grasshopper; Democracy is over.
